Conflict-free software deployment for Windows

Simplify the installation of hardware devices that utilize software to run, control, or capture data.

Today’s advanced hardware devices often require equally comprehensive software programs to control the device, manage data, or troubleshoot. For example, imaging, diagnostic, manufacturing, laboratory, and measurement equipment are used alongside computers. The companion computers vary greatly as to what other applications may be installed, what version of the OS is used and when it was last updated; or if the user has administrative rights. If the software doesn’t run or presents conflicts this may adversely influence how the hardware device runs or corrupt data. Thinstall solves all of these challenging software issues and provides the following benefits:

Eliminate all installation conflicts. With Thinstall, all registry keys, DLLs and third party libraries are packaged into a single, compressed EXE. Other applications, Windows upgrades, registry key deletions, or OS corruptions will not effect a Thinstall packaged application.
Eliminate the need for administrator rights. Because software is not installed, administrator rights are not required to run a Thinstall packaged application. This is key when running applications in a corporate locked down desktop environment or on home computers where the user may not know how to access administrator capability. Additionally, OCX and ActiveX components do not need to be registered.
Run directly from any media. Thinstall packages all code components into a single EXE so that the application can be run directly from a CDROM, USB key, or network, without requiring installation.
