Acresso Aligns AdminStudio with VMware ThinApp Suite, Reducing Application Management Costs for Corporate IT Departments

 

Acresso AdminStudio® has announced the integration of the product with ThinApp ’s virtual application technology to make it easier for IT administrators to package applications for virtualization. Customers using the products together can benefit from an easy to use, low-cost system that simplifies packaging applications for virtual desktop management.

 

The AdminStudio® ThinApp Support allows the user to easily convert applications to ThinApp virtual packages in minutes. The Thinstall Assistant walks you through the entire process, significantly reducing your learning curve. Thinstalled applications require no client-side agents or server infrastructure, making them ideal for most environments.

The integration enables software applications to be packaged into a “Thinstalled” single, self-contained executable (EXE) file, for immediate distribution by IT administrators. Customers using the new release of AdminStudio, version 8.6, can benefit from the integration by speeding up software migrations and deploying custom, commercial and legacy applications directly into Thinstall’s Vista-ready Virtualization Platform.
